Bridges

We aren't talking about the Golden Gate Bridge, here. But we DO help patients by creating a dental bridge that replaces one or more missing teeth. We fill in the gaps to help you restore both functionality and appearance. (For example: eating is easier and smiling is more enjoyable!) Dr. Birch can help patients with missing teeth by providing a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the most suitable treatment plan. Using his expertise in restorative dentistry, Dr. Birch can custom design and place a dental bridge that fits comfortably and seamlessly, helping patients regain their confidence in their smile and overall oral health. But not all bridges are the same.

There are several types of bridges:

Traditional bridges: This is probably the most common type, and involves creating a crown for the tooth or implant on either side of the missing tooth. An artificial tooth is between them.

Cantilever bridges: These are used when there are adjacent teeth on only one side of the missing tooth.

Maryland bridges: These bridges consist of a metal or porcelain framework that is bonded to the back of the adjacent teeth, with an artificial tooth attached in between.

All-on-4 Dental Implants/Bridges: A revolutionary dental solution designed for patients missing most or all of their teeth. It involves placing four strategically positioned dental implants into the jawbone, which then serve as a foundation to support a full arch of fixed, non-removable prosthetic teeth (a dental bridge). This technique offers a secure, permanent replacement for dentures, restoring full functionality and a natural-looking smile, often with less recovery time and fewer implants than traditional methods.
